Mindfulness is the art of being present. It is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment, to the NOW. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment.
Mindfulness is an art form. Like all true art, the foundational principles must be learned so that they can be let go. The practices and principles learned here will aid the student in touching the present. If however the principles are hung onto, they will become a hindrance to transcendence. So the first principle of Mindfulness is cling to nothing.
When a practitioner of mindfulness touches the present, a heightened awareness of the senses open. This sensory experience is both ecstatic and insightful. As the present is touched, peace is realized, the deeper the present, the deeper the peace. Rest for the mind and body is also found in the practice of mindfulness. That which used to be tiring blossoms into that which is beautiful. Joy is discovered in the smallest of things. In the NOW, a slight breeze can be the door to extreme ecstasy.
Silas' Metaphisical Mindfulness class is like taking an Eastern Mindfulness class and dropping some acid into it! This class is here to take the student on a journey from present to presence, from touching the moment to being the space in which the moment unfolds!

Our next 12 week Mindfulness course begins on Wednesday September 2nd at 9 PM ET. and will run though November 11th. Each 12 week course is $420 and must be paid in advance. As a part of the Mindfulness course, you will have the option of being included in our next Silent Retreat at no cost (normal cost $100). All students enrolled in Mentorship with Silas at the time of the Mindfulness course are registered in the Mindfulness course at no cost.
